In October 2012, Chris and Sarah went off on their travels around the world for 6 months. Chris had always wanted to see the world and the opportunity to do it together was something they jumped at. 

The couple started their journey in Thailand and worked their way through Bangkok, Koh Phi Phi, Koh Samai and Koh pha-ngan, where Chris decided to try all the local cuisine to eat, including crickets, stick insects and cockroaches! 

The trip continued through to Vietnam, where they visited many of the historical sites and experienced traditional culture and life. From there they continued their travels across Australia, covering Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, and the East Coast. 

Once they arrived in New Zealand, Chris and Sarah hired a camper van and drove across the South and North Island. Chris was in his element with the scenic views and picturesque freedom camping.

The final leg of the journey saw them into Fiji and into Singapore, where the trip came to an end. Upon returning home Chris and Sarah found out the wonderful news that they were expecting a baby.
